About the Program

Through interdisciplinary experiences, students will work on real problems and create new ideas while earning credit toward their degrees.

These courses develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while instilling a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Students are expected to:
  • Enroll in 1 iA course each year
  • Participate in 1 iA club/organization each year
  • Attend 4 iA events per year (lectures, pitch competitions, internship fairs, etc.)
  • Meet with Career Services representatives to develop personalized branding & marketing of iA skills

For their participation, students will earn the following distinctions:

  • 1 Year of participation = Bronze Level Distinction
  • 2 Years of participation = Silver Level Distinction
  • 3 Years of participation plus completion of capstone project = Gold Level Distinction
  • 4 Years of participation plus completion of capstone project = Lobo Level Distinction
